1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by WpPatrol LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”), including but not limited to our subscription-based WordPress maintenance plans and one-time service packages offered through portal.wppatrol.com.
By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our services.
These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and any other guidelines or documents explicitly referenced herein.
2. Eligibility
To use our services, you must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. By using our platform, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
If you are accessing our services on behalf of a company or another legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
3. Account Registration
You may be required to create an account in order to access and manage your subscription or one-time service.
You agree to:
Provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration
Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
Accept full responsibility for all activity under your account
If you suspect any unauthorized use of your account, you must notify us immediately at support@wppatrol.com. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to safeguard your credentials.
4. Service Overview
a. Subscription Services
WpPatrol provides ongoing WordPress maintenance services including (but not limited to):
Core, theme, and plugin updates
Daily backups and uptime monitoring
Security scans and malware cleanup
Performance optimization
Support time based on your selected plan
Details of what is included in each plan are outlined on our Pricing Page and may change from time to time.
b. One-Time Services
We also offer standalone services such as:
WordPress site migration
Malware cleanup
Plugin/theme configuration
Speed or mobile optimization
Error and conflict resolution
All one-time services are non-subscription based and handled per request.
c. Service Limitations
While we strive to support a wide range of WordPress configurations, we do not guarantee compatibility with unsupported themes, outdated plugins, or third-party services outside our control. Custom development, redesigns, or non-WordPress platforms are not included unless otherwise agreed upon.
5. Billing & Payment
We use Stripe to securely process payments. By purchasing any of our services, you agree to Stripe’s terms of service and privacy policy.
a. Subscriptions
Subscriptions renew automatically based on your billing cycle (monthly, quarterly, or annually).
Charges are processed in advance and are non-refundable, except as outlined in our Refund Policy.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not trigger a refund for the current term.
b. One-Time Services
Payment is required upfront. Work will begin once payment is confirmed and required site information is submitted.
One-time services are not eligible for recurring billing.
c. Failed Payments
In case of payment failure, we may suspend your services until payment is completed. We reserve the right to retry payment collection using the method on file.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Please review our Refund Policy for full details regarding eligibility and timing of refunds.
One-time services are generally not refundable once work has begun.
If you believe you qualify for a refund under our policy, please contact support@wppatrol.com with your order details.
7. User Responsibilities
To ensure smooth and secure service delivery, you agree to:
Provide accurate and complete onboarding information within a reasonable time after purchase
Keep your website’s credentials up to date and inform us of any changes
Use the services only for lawful purposes and not engage in any misuse or abuse of the platform
Avoid uploading or transmitting any malware, spam, or harmful code
Refrain from reselling or misrepresenting our services unless you have a valid white-label agreement
Failure to comply with these responsibilities may result in suspension or termination of your service without notice.
8. Access & Availability
We aim to provide continuous and reliable access to our platform and services. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may temporarily suspend access due to:
Scheduled maintenance
System upgrades
Security concerns or emergencies
Factors beyond our control (e.g., server outages, DDoS attacks)
We are not liable for any loss of business or data resulting from service downtime.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, design elements, and documentation found on wppatrol.com and portal.wppatrol.com are the intellectual property of WpPatrol LLC, unless otherwise stated.
You may not:
Reproduce, duplicate, or distribute any content without written permission
Misrepresent or claim ownership of our materials
Use our trademarks, logos, or service marks without authorization
We retain full rights to the materials we develop as part of our service delivery, except for proprietary assets provided by the client.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WpPatrol LLC shall not be liable for:
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of revenue, data, or business arising from use or inability to use our services
Damages caused by third-party plugins, themes, or hosting providers
Unauthorized access to your account due to your failure to secure login credentials
Our total liability in any matter arising out of these Terms shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the service in question during the 3 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you:
Violate these Terms
Engage in fraudulent or abusive activity
Use our services for illegal or unethical purposes
Upon termination:
Your access to our dashboard and support will be revoked
We are not obligated to retain your website data beyond what is required by law
No refunds will be issued for the remaining term of a subscription unless required by law
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. All changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We will notify users of significant changes via email or dashboard alerts when feasible.
By continuing to use our services after changes are posted, you agree to the updated terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New Mexico.
